Update November 10


Things are going well.   I loved my workouts with Tawny last week, and am feeling better overall.   I hadn't had a soda since October 20 or so, and bought a Diet Pepsi fountain drink yesterday with the crushed ice, and was all ready to enjoy it, and it just didn't even hit the spot.   So, half of it was wasted after I sipped on it a few hours.   I did get in over 10 waters (10 cups plus).

Some days my food intake is better than others.  I make good choices more often than I used to.

I burned more calories than I ate at least!  

Monday, November 3:
Met with Tawny.  Had weigh-in (loss 6) and measurements!  We did 2 zumba songs, and 25 minutes of leg, arm etc exercises.  In addition, I got in 25 squats at work.   My menu was fair.  Calories consumed:  1404.  

Tuesday, November 4:
I walked 29 minutes today.
My menu was good today. I did have pancakes for breakfast with my granddaughter.  I just kept track, though.  Total calories consumed:  1052

Wednesday, November 5:
Met with Tawny.  We did 3 zumba songs, and 25 minutes of leg, arm, crunches, etc.     My menu was fair.  We had  a totally carb filled lunch at a conference, but kept my calories today at 1356.

Thursday, November 6:
I walked 25 minutes.  Fitbit tracked 83 minutes active.  Steps: 7429
Great on food today.  Calories:  1056

Friday, November 7:
Not a good day for exercise.   Fitbit-Active minutes: 66  Steps: 4965

Did ok on food, even got in a Bud light with dinner.  Calories today:  1307


Saturday, November 8:
It was a great day.   I mowed, took a walk pulling the grandkids in the wagon, etc.   I did exercises with the handweights in the evening!!!   Walked-25 minutes  Mowed-45 minutes   Exercises-15 minutes.   Fitbit-Active Minutes:  166 Steps: 13292

Did ok with food, considering I ate lunch out. However, veggies and fruit not met.   Calories today: 1503 (still under the 1550 top limit!)

Sunday, November 9:
Another good day.   I cleaned and vacuumed.  Then, I walked for 36 minutes.  I also did several floor exercises-3 sets of crunches (10 reps), 3 sets of crunches with twists (10 reps), scissor legs...3 sets of wide and 3 quick (10 reps each), the leg lift and the knee/toe leg ones...3 sets (10 reps each).
Fitbit-Active Minutes: 166  Steps: 12049

My menu could have been better.  I got up and made smothered burritos for the guys (hubby and friend who went hunting), so I had hashbrowns (not much), scrambled eggs, a dab of pork chili and a tortilla for breakfast, and then ONE smothered burrito for lunch.   Supper was cereal.  I did have a candy bar yesterday.   Oh, and I made brownies and had one....only one!   (They were the black bean brownies, so at least had protein and less fat! ).   Calories:  1364

I have been getting up 1-2 times a day from my desk and walking around the building.  It's not much, but adds a bit of activity to my day.

I'm looking forward to tonights workout with Tawny!   Got to work on sleep yet...haven't had any night over 7 hours yet.   Many at 6.5.
