Ok, here's my snack bag, and I brought almonds and a banana too for the 2 days. Crunching on these was good....sure wish I had just SKIPPED the Taco Johns stop, or at least just made a quick, healthy sandwich...
My plan was to go eat at my favorite, Carlos O'Kellys. First of all I missed the turn because I didnt' see Carlos O'Kellys, and it took me extra time to get back around there....then I found it CLOSED DOWN...ugh! So, decided rather than drive somewhere, I could just eat at Red Lobster..I thought they would have some kind of lobster salad or something? Nope, but instead of ordering my favorite shrimp plate (coconut and grilled), I ordered wood grilled salmon, which comes with broccoli and chose the green beans as my second side instead of rice or potatoes, and had a tossed salad. Good choices, right. Of course, I should have said to not leave the cheddar bay biscuits...can you really resist them? I ate 2. Geez. I could have done way worse than I did, but if I had just skipped that noon Taco Johns.... :-)
However, I did do what I planned and walked on the treadmill for 40 minutes, which will at least be better than curling up in a ball on my bed....
That being said I will make sure to do well the rest of my week (Thursday through Sunday) so that my weekly caloric intake will be within limits. I guess I can't be at my best each day, but I have learned from this. And, I will keep on this journey and I will reach my goals!
Tomorrow I will be aware of my breakfast choices here at the motel, and portion sizes at the noon meal....and if I'm really good, I'll wake up early and walk again...I sure wish I was a morning person!!
